SnoSpice

Image
Not long ago, after connecting via Twitter, Madeline and Lizzy were sent the whole line up of SnoSpice products. You have probably never heard of SnoSpice and are quite confused and not exactly sure what this blog post is going to be about. That is because SnoSpice is an incredibly new company; new as of December 2015! According to their website, "SnoSpice is a collection of herb and spice blends that transform ordinary vanilla ice cream into an amazing array of flavors." The idea for the Atlanta company occurred after "a late night yearning for chocolate ice cream in a house with only vanilla." Izzy's Italian Strawberry and Lemon Basil Sorbet

It was 70 degrees Fahrenheit in Minneapolis on Novemebr 3, 2015.  Let me repeat that.  It was 70 degrees Fahrenheit in Minneapolis on November 3, 2015.  What!? I couldn't believe it.  Early in the day I decided I wasn't going to do any work and instead spend some time outside.  What better way to spend time outside then to walk to the ice cream parlor, eat ice cream outside, and then walk back to school.  I even tricked a few of my friends into Tuesday afternoon delinquency! Much tribulation! What will I ...

I Scream Cakes

Many of my St. Louis readers are probably looking at the title and thinking I've gone on some fabulous travel adventure and had a chance to stop at some wonderful little ice cream shop in some other state. Nope. Nope nope. I Scream Cakes is the hidden gem of Cherokee Street in South St. Louis. I had never heard of I Scream Cakes until this summer. I thought I knew all the best places to get my favorite food in my favorite city. So maybe it was that this bakery and ice cream shop just focused more on cake, and ice cream was more of a side venture. Or maybe their ice cream wasn't that good. There had to be some sort of explanation as to how this little shop had been flying under my radar. Well after my sister and I visited yesterday, I can tell you the explanation has nothing to do with the quality of the ice cream. Or the quality of the service, for that matter. When Madeline and I walked into this brightly colored store, I, at least, was overwhelmed by the many intriguing fla...
