Ben and Jerry's That's My Jam

I'll keep this review short and sweet since Lizzy already reviewed the core flavor That's My Jam.  Of the three cores I've tried so far (all except Peanut Butter Fudge), this is by far the best.  It is described as:

Chocolate and raspberry ice creams with fudge chips and a raspberry core.

It has texture you can actually feel in the fudge chunks (although I still think it could be chunkier!) and the Raspberry core is top notch.  It tastes like a more viscous version of jelly doughnut jelly.

The only grip I have with this flavor is the raspberry ice cream.  To me the flavor was really faint and totally overwhelmed by the chocolate ice cream.  In the end this wasn't a big deal because the core was raspberry flavored, so there was enough raspberry in the ice cream, but I felt there could have been more!

Ok peeps, does anybody else think its a bit weird that Haagen-Dazs makes a Vanilla ice cream and a Vanilla Bean ice cream? Like, is that really necessary? Nestle Drumstick, The Original Sundae Cone

Every once in a while you've just gotta have a classic. For me, and for many others, drumsticks are reminiscent of childhood summers and the ice cream truck coming by. I have memories of drumsticks being really, really tasty and exciting. But before I review them, lets have a little history lesson. And by history lesson, no I do not mean me talking about my childhood; I do not think I am yet old enough that I can call my childhood "history". (Although my students are often baffled that not only am I older than Facebook, I am also older than YouTube!!) What I do mean is a history lesson on waffle cones and drumsticks. Ben and Jerry's Netflix and Chill'd

Really. A blog post. Literally 2 years to the day after the last blog post. (Srs, I did not plan that.) In that time I (Madeline) defended my thesis, so you can now call us Dr. Big Muddy Ice Cream Blog, thank you very much. So it's 2020. All through 2019 we joked that the year was a dumpster fire.
